Nicole Perlman began her professional writing career at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her first screenplay “Challenger”, based on the life of physicist Richard Feynman, won the Tribeca Film Festival’s Sloan Grant for Science in Film and topped the 2006 Black List. In 2009 she earned a coveted spot in Marvel Studio’s writing program in which she was offered Marvel properties to adapt for the big screen. Notably, she chose the then lesser-known “Guardians of the Galaxy” comics, kick-starting the current franchise.
